Need a place to store your website?

Once your Website is complete and ready to go on the web, you will need a place to store it. The web wouldn’t exist if it wouldn’t be for the thousands of people and companies that store computers, which are called servers, that run 24/7.

That is what makes the web alive. So thousands of people runs there computer 24/7 and are letting you use some space on their hard drive. Don’t worry, your space is password protected and a company wouldn’t want to loose their credibility trying to sneak where they shouldn’t be. In order to store your website on a host first, look around the web for different hosting company and what they have to offer. They offer all kinds of packages to fit your needs for a small price. Free hosting is also available, but I wouln’t recommand it if your planning on opening an E-store.

Basic packages will offer you some space and bandwidth but not other features that you would need to open business on the web. But it is a good solution if you plan on doing a website that displays a lot of images, videos, etc…, like a fan site.

If your goal is to open business on the internet, then I would recommand a Business package. It will allows you to have lots of space, good amount of bandwidth and all the extras you will be needing to setup a merchant account, shopping cart, SSL and etc…

So read carefully what they have to offer, don’t be caught like me when I signed up I didn’t read carefully and didn’t notice that my account does not support .ASP writing, so I had to start all over since all my pages were .ASP
