Internet Marketing is all about making the best use of the power of the internet to reach across to a wide audience, located across the globe. The many aspects to internet marketing include affiliate marketing,  e-mail marketing, banner ads, interactive advertising, search engine marketing, article marketing, and blogging.

Through these hosts of techniques, companies can gain attention of people who surf for information about their products or services. In other words, they can reach out to a targeted audience and get a positive response from such as audience, since the people they target are the ones actually seeking their services.

Internet marketing is gaining popularity because of the advantages it offers to businesses trying to reach out to customers using the internet. If we must understand the benefits offered by internet marketing, we need to see how it actually works in an example.

As an example, let’s see how internet marketing can be applied to a website to promote it across the internet. If a company wishes to popularize its products and services across the internet, it requires a good website. This means the site must look good and present information in a clear and concise manner. It should have tools by which user can easily navigate the site and it should have in place for visitors to make purchases safely.

Above all these measures the website must be search engine friendly for it to turn up in top listing during searches. This includes placing the right keywords in the contents and using link popularity services to promote the site in search engines. It is all these strategies put together that will make the site popular over the internet.

The objective of Internet marketing is to increase traffic to your website, thereby promoting sales. Affiliate programs,  behavioral targeting, latent semantic indexing, targeting at the right audience, are all steps which form part of the internet marketing strategies that promote this objective. If a company adopts just the right mix of internet marketing strategies, their popularity in the internet rises and they see a constant stream of visitors. Much of these visitors turn into qualified leads and sales, which helps them in turn to achieve business objectives.

However, there are some issues of concern in the area of internet marketing. One main limitations is that technologies which process payment (though they seem very reliable) have yet to fully advance and emerge and fool-proof systems. Shopping over the internet nothing like real shopping, where you can actually feel the goods you want to buy before you buy them and as a result no matter what strategies you use, the internet is really not the place to sell certain goods which really need touch and feel before purchase. If a company were to design a large and complicated website, a user with a slow internet connection can’t have the shopping experience the site can actually give them and this is a turn-off for the visitor.

Above all these concerns and in spite of the popularity of television and other media, internet marketing is being widely used to sell products and services, because the internet is playing a vital role in spreading information to people across the globe. It is the new way to reach out to a wider audience and in course of time will be as much used as television, radio and other forms of advertisement by businesses to promote themselves to potential customers across the globe.

Now to the subject of this post. Almost every day there is a new “hot” Internet Marketing product that launches and if you’re a subscriber to any number of lists you know you’re going to hear about at least one of them, right?

Many people get annoyed when they’re pitched to over and over and over again.

While I don’t blame anyone for being annoyed when someone ONLY promotes to you and never offers free information, I want to explain why people like myself always seem to be selling something.

If you’ve been marketing online for a while this will be no surprise. This post isn’t to teach veteran marketers anything. It’s simply to make it clear to those struggling to make money online, so hopefully they understand that just because someone is trying to sell something to them, doesn’t mean they don’t honestly want to help!

Approximately every 18 days, sometimes sooner, sometimes later, I send out an email to my mailing list. This email is a promotion and yes, I want you to consider buying it because if you do, I’m going to make money. I’m not a liar, a scammer or a cheat. I’ll be the first to admit it. I promote products because I want to make money. It really is that simple.

BUT, there is something that separates the good guys from the bad and that’s quality! Nearly every day I receive email from other marketers with lists. Some of these people have small lists, while others have lists of 100,000 and more. These people ask me if I would like to do an “ad swap” or something similar. They don’t mention any particular products or anything else.

What is their goal? Their goal is to make money and/or generate leads. They could care less what the product is, how good that product is and whether or not it’s going to help their followers.

THAT is where most people go wrong and THAT is what gives people like me a bad name.

You see, there are very few people like myself,   who regularly promote products, but we are extremely critical about what we promote!

I simply will not promote a product that I don’t believe in. I’ve been contact by several VERY well known marketers who wanted me to promote their products. That’s kind of how you “get in” their groups. You promote their product then they promote yours. They were very surprised when I said “Sorry, this isn’t a product that I believe will benefit my subscribers.”

I burnt bridges but I kept the integrity of my list and that’s exactly why my list (in most cases) converts 10 times better than the lists of these well-known “guru’s”

The Moral of the Story is This

Not every product is for everyone! On several occasions I’ve received replies to promotions from subscribers telling me their situation and I’ve told them that this product probably isn’t best for them at this time.

I find good products and I recommend them. Whether or not that product is best for you at that particular time depends on what you’re doing. There are MANY different Internet Marketing business models out there. If what I’m promoting doesn’t fit into your business model then I don’t recommend you purchase it!

What I’m trying to say here is this: Just because someone regularly recommends products doesn’t mean you should buy EVERY single product they recommend! At the same time, just because someone regularly recommends products doesn’t mean they don’t have your best interests in mind!

When people like Andrew Hansen, Mark Mason, myself and other ethical Internet Marketers promote a product you can rest assured it’s an honest recommendation, but we would never recommend EVERY single person on our list purchase it.

Selling is part of every business. Be sure to stay away from the guys who pitch something to you day after day after day because you know they don’t find good, honest recommendations every single day, but don’t let those guys give the good guys a bad name

It didn’t take me long at all to come up with the 3 most important things you must realize in order to find success online, but once we were done with the call I realized I could have gone on and on and on about those things and I could have added to them.

As obvious as some of these may seem and as often as you may have heard others state the same thing, the following are EXTREMELY important points to understand if you want to find success online!

1. Pick an Internet Marketing Business Model and stick with it – Ask any “newbie” to Internet Marketing what his or her biggest problem is and 9 out of 10 of them will say “Information Overload.” The root of this problem almost always comes from one thing: The person not knowing which business model to adopt and/or trying to do too much at once. It is GOOD to diversify (which I talk about below) but NOT in the beginning.

You need to start out with one business model! It doesn’t matter if that model isn’t the most profitable. You don’t have to do that one model for the rest of your life. But someone who is just getting started is going to have a VERY hard time being successful if he or she is getting confused by trying to figure out multiple models at once, which WILL happen 99% of the time!

Instead, pick one model that seems “doable” and DO NOT even think about another model until you have figured that one out and had at least moderate success with it!

2. Don’t be afraid to invest in knowledge and tools, but be selective – I’ll be the first to recommend a good product. As Andy Beard once stated, Information Products are kind of like outsourcing research and the more knowledge you have the better, but if I’m learning I’m not going to buy every product that is presented to me whether it’s good or not. I WILL however buy every product recommended to me from reputable sources if it is focusing on the business model I have adopted!

The problem is that there are alot of savvy, veteran marketers out there who know exactly what is going through the minds of “newbies” and they leverage that and talk alot of people into buying xyz product when they don’t really need it!

Bottom line: If your business model is Niche Marketing (for example) and a reputable source recommends a good niche marketing product, buy it if you can. BUT if your business model is Niche Marketing and someone recommends a product on PPC, DON’T buy it, you don’t need it!

There are alot of good products out there and you should be investing in your business by purchasing solid products that will help you improve your skills in the business model you’ve adopted, but don’t let smooth talkers get any money from you in exchange for a product that is simply going to confuse you and put you off track!

3. Outsource as soon as you can afford to! – You may be surprised how much work is outsourced by successful business owners, both online and offline. Using myself as an example, I outsource ALL of the design work in my business, most of the technical/coding and writing work and paid services do much of my other work. I’m basically left with writing blog posts like this one, writing emails to my lists and working on future sites and products.

If you do all of your own graphics, coding, writing, product development etc. success is going to take a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time to find you!

I know you may not have much, if any, money to outsource. That’s fine, I didn’t when I started either. But there will come a time when you can! For the first year or two you should be reinvesting every dollar you make back into your business. This will speed up it’s growth dramatically. If you and/or your family is relying on the money you make online and it’s very little, get a job! I know it’s hard to hear that and accept it, but it’s what should be done.

4. Diversify once you’ve mastered that business model – Diversification is job security as an Internet Marketer! If you rely on one mailing list, one adsense account, one Adwords account etc. what happens to your income if that account is suspended or something else happens? It ceases to exist, that’s what happens!

It’s very important to stick to one business model AT FIRST! But once you have at least moderate success with one business model you should move on and learn another! EVEN IF you make MILLIONS with the first business model you adopt, which is unlikely, but possible. I STILL recommend adopting a 2nd and eventually a 3rd and more. You NEVER know what might happen!

I’ve heard of more than one situation where smart businessmen lost 6 and even 7 figure businesses do to their business not being diverse!

5. NEVER give up! – This doesn’t really qualify as step 5. It’s something that you need to understand at ALL times! From day 1 you need to realize and accept one thing. You WILL fail! It’s inevitable. No highly successful person succeeded all the way to the top.

Failure is part of success just like a cough is part of a cold. When you fail you shouldn’t be surprised. You should be happy that you’ve reached one more step toward success.

I’ll say it again: You will fail! You will fail again. You will fail again and you will probably fail again after you failed the first 2, 3, 4, or 5 times.

EVERYONE FAILS! The difference between those who succeed in the end and those who don’t is those who succeed in the end didn’t quit when they failed the 1st time, the 2nd time, the 3rd time or any other time!

Make friendship with him or else you can even give him some money for adding your signatures or else you can give some ebooks or dvd’s in exchange with your work.

So this is a small strategy which can make you rich if you can apply correctly.

Many top marketers on the Internet create videos and promote their websites. Also the sky rocketing traffic can be achieved through youtube if you can create testimonials about the websites. There are many professionals who can create excellent videos which make the viewers not get bored and which ultimately grab the attention about the products.

If you can hire some people who are good in this work and create videos about your product then you can achieve a great success. Also one more recommendable thing is just get in touch with a good blogger and ask him to create small video about your site. These are like testimonials and will provide a great impact in converting traffic to sales and this will ensure you to become a successful marketer on the internet.

If you don’t know the answer then I would help you for the reason why they are providing free reports. Generally if anything is give for free it will spread as fast as possible on the Internet. So, the hidden truth for giving free reports is for maximum exposure. In those reports just by including the URL of the website will make you become popular on the internet providing lots and lots of traffic for your site.

For Short Term Purpose:-
Some people give free reports with some affiliate links in their reports. So with the help of this they will get sign ups. So some people use CPA offers in free reports and earn money through that.
